About the Scholarship:

National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) and ETS TOEFL® are proud to announce the 2nd Edition of ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship’ for 10 Indian scholars. These scholarships will recognize and support applicants who wish to excel in their full time on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate program at a UK university.

Each selected candidate will get a chance to win a one-time scholarship of INR 2.5 Lacs.

Funds are intended to provide financial support for college expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, housing deposits, transportation, among others. A panel of NISAU and UK University representatives will select the winners of this scholarship. The deadline for the application submission is 15th August 2024.

    Successful recipients of the UK-India TOEFL Scholarship will be required to act as a TOEFL Student Ambassador for the duration of their studies, which may involve but is not limited to the following:

    Representing as a TOEFL Student Ambassador at Events, Conferences, etc.

    Contributing to marketing and promotional activities such as writing blogs, creating video testimonials, etc.

    Participating in International student events

    Engaging with the TOEFL program as a valued member of our global alumni

    Eligibility Criteria:

    All the applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

    A TOEFL test score of 75 out of 120

    An offer letter from a university in UK.

    Steps to Apply for the Scholarship

    • Step 1: Applicants submit their ETS ID to begin their process
    • Step 2: The candidates who have scored 75 or above will be asked to:
      • I) Fill in details of their Grade 12 scores, Graduation scores
      • II) Write an essay on 'Creating a social impact with a UK-based Education' [500 words]
      • III) Provide a highlight of their personal & academic achievements
    • Step 3: The Essay submission will be assessed along with other personal and academic credentials according to the applicant’s eligibility and the completeness of the supporting documentation submitted by the 15th of August 2024.
    • Step 4: A maximum of ten (10) applicants will be selected and will be sent a notification from ETS India latest by 15th of September.

    Applications for the scholarships will close on August 15th 2024.
